Tobias Menzies dedicates Emmy win to Michael Okay. Williams

Tobias Menzies received the excellent supporting actor in a drama sequence for his function in “The Crown.”

And whereas he wasn’t current for the awards ceremony, Menzies shared his gratitude on Monday.

“Very humbled to win @TheEmmys final night time, large because of @TVAcademy & congrats to all my good fellow nominees,” the tweet learn. “However wish to dedicate this to Michael Okay Williams, his efficiency as Omar in The Wire is among the nice display screen performances, he can be deeply missed. RIP.”

Williams was nominated for his work on “Lovecraft Nation.” He was discovered useless in his Brooklyn house earlier this month. He was 54.
