‘The Crown’ actors Claire Foy and Olivia Colman mirror on taking part in Queen Elizabeth

Foy spoke to BBC on the Toronto Worldwide Movie Pageant on Wednesday, praising the Queen for her life’s work.

“I believe that she was an unbelievable monarch,” she stated. “She united individuals and she or he was a large image of continuity and dignity and charm.”

Foy, who performed the Queen for the primary two seasons of the Netflix sequence, which lined 1947 to 1964, added that she was “honored” to have portrayed her.

“My foremost feeling is simply fascinated by her as a mom and a grandmother and a great-grandmother, actually,” she stated. “I am very honored to have been a teeny tiny, small a part of her story.”

Colman, who performed the Queen in Seasons 3 and 4, masking 1964 by means of 1976, spoke to Selection on the competition, saying the Queen led her life with dignity.

“She made a promise as a younger lady and she or he completely stored it with such dignity,” she stated. “We’re all extremely impressed by what she did.”

Buckingham Palace introduced that Queen Elizabeth died “peacefully” at age 96 on Sept. 8. She took on the title in 1952.
