Fury v Joshua bout unlikely to occur, says promoter Warren

Joshua was unable to counter the superior boxing expertise of Usyk as he suffered his second skilled defeat to lose his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the weekend.

“I do not see it taking place now,” WBC titleholder Fury’s promoter Warren instructed the BBC.

A rematch towards Usyk would give Joshua the possibility to win again his belts however Warren stated the “susceptible” Londoner could be no match for Fury even when they did battle.

“Usyk is an efficient fighter, he boxed extraordinarily properly. However Joshua is so susceptible. He is been like that for ages,” he added.

“They will speak all they need about rematches … Even when he was to beat Usyk, what’s Tyson Fury going to do to Joshua? You’ll have your home on Tyson beating him.”

Fury faces Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas subsequent month after signing a contract to battle the American for a 3rd time.
